Brief introduction of Huaxia Tourism Institute Huaxia Tourism Institute A Reliable Institute Huaxia Tourism Institute, located in Hefei City, is a professional tourism institute which is authorized by Hefei Bureau of Education. We set up a close relationship from Hefei Jicui Women higher learning institute. Both of them are governed by China National Democratic Construction Association. To serve both the tourism firm and the tourism economy, we take advantage of our superiority and have been raising a lot of high quality professional talents suitable to the development of tourism all over the nation. Currently, there are several Associate programs( tourism service and management, tourist guide, tourism E-commerce, tourism health, tourism management). Ranking in the first provincial institutes which are famous for a variety of accomplishment such as college entrance examination, test of certificate of tourist guide, test of certificate of professional employees, obtaining employment etc, we boast our perfect factors for teaching. In addition, Huaxia Tourism Institute is affiliate member of Anhui project-hope, member of Anhui Spring Bud project “Love Education Association” and member of the Department of help-poverty education. We have a faculty of 38 teachers, including 6 professors and 16 lecturers, eighty percent of them with Bachelor’s degree or above. To meet the need of the tourism education, we equipped with a series of labs (simulated tour guide lab, house keeping lab, computer center, libraby, physical-shape training room). We emphasize three kinds of abilities in teaching (the ability of listening comprehesion of English and spoken English, the abilty of application of computer, the abilty of pratice related to the students’ major). By means of the strengthening of education in the fields of aesthetics and demeanour, we make great efforts to cultivate students’ three kinds of consciounesses (service and discipline, competition, public relations performance). Additionally, we make sure that our students have good career morality, regular behaviour, proper adaptation and firm foundation of tourism knowledge, which is essential to the development of students’ career in the tourism field. We hane been opening our programs accoding to the demand of the market for 8 years. Normally, our graduates have been preoccupied by some firms one year before their normal graduation date and their excellent performance earns a higher evaluation from their employers. There are many students who are generally arranged for their fieldwork and job in higher reputed enterprises (Guangdong White Swan Hotel, Dongguan Haiyatt Garden Hotel, Dongguan Winnerway Hotel, Beijing Dragon Spring Hotel, China International Travel Service, China Travel Service Group, China Youth Travel Service,China Comfort International Travel Service).
